Nina Smith Nina Smith is professor in Economics at Aarhus School of Business. She is Director of Centre for Research in Integration and Marginalization (CIM). She was member of the Danish government's Social Commission 1991-93, chairman of the Danish Council of Economic Advisors 1995-98, member of the Danish government's Research Commission 2000-2001, member of the Danish government's thinktank on Integration of Immigrants 2000-2001, the Danish government's welfare comission 2003-. She is chair of the board of the Danish Research Councils. She is member of the executive committee of European Society of Population Economics (ESPE), and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of RWI. Her recent work covers income taxes and labour supply, work incentives for low-skilled, gender wage gap, the labour market for immigrants, income distribution and poverty. |
